The Gibson School Systems

As the oldest continuously run educational institution, The Gibson School  remains committed to providing an academically rigorous education to students who will walk out of school ready for lives of leadership and service to their community. From literacy to music and art, each day at the Champions School is filled with activities that are both enriching and fun.

ADMISSION PRE - KINDERGARTEN

Students aged 3 up to 4 years who have had no prior education or who have been learning in a social setting are admitted without entrance exams. Since these placements are highly competitive, parents should register their children on the waiting list at the Central Administrative Office as early as possible.

Kindergarten

Students 4 years of age, who have been learning in other schools and show proof, attend the Vacation enrichment Program are admitted into KG. Otherwise, students who successfully pass the entrance exam are registered in KG. Since these placements are highly competitive, parents should register their children on the waiting list at the Central Administrative Office as early as possible.

 
Preparatory to Grade 7

Students who have successfully completed the prior grade and perform well on the entrance exams are registered in the appropriate grade. Since these placements are highly competitive, parents should register their children on the waiting list at the Central Administrative Office as early as possible. All new students must attend the Vacation Enrichment Program in the vacation time.

Grade 9, 10 and 11

These students are admitted based on their Ministry of Education Exam results and GSS entrance exam results. Since these placements are highly competitive, parents should register their children on the waiting list at the Central Administrative Office as early as possible. All new students must attend the Vacation Enrichment Program in the vacation time.
